The Tennis Internationals in Bergamo are among the most important men’s tennis tournaments in the world, played annually in February in the city of Lombardy.The 2020 edition will take place from 17 to 23 in the sports arena, known as PalaAgnelli.
The competition is also named ATP Challenger Bergamo and this year has a prize pool of over 46,000 euros.There are many illustrious names, internationally renowned champions who over the years took part in this so warned sporting event.

ATP Challenger Bergamo, history
The first edition of the Internationals Tennis in Bergamo dates back to 2006. The Internationals of Bergamo were initially born to supply the end of the tournament in Milan, but over the years they have captured more and more interest worldwide, with the parallel increase of the prize pool and the prestige.
Today, the competition is one of the most important event in the international scene of men’s tennis, second only to the Italia International Tennis Championships. The fields of the PalaAgnelli, the sports hall of the city where the most important meetings are held, were limed by names, also Italian, that made the history of this sport: from Bogdanovic, to the unforgettable victories of Andreas Seppi and Simone Bolelli, up to the most recent Benoit Paire, Pierre Hugues Herbert and the Polish champion Jerzy Janowicz.
In the past, on the podium have often climbed Italian tennis players as Matteo Berrettini, who triumphed in 2018, and Jannik Sinner, who in 2019, in an all-Italian final, beat Roberto Marcora. The PalaAgnelli, even if it is a dated structure, is perfect for hosting the performance, as it guarantees an optimal visibility from any position (a great thing, considering that the seats are 2,500). The public always attends numerous, with the final punctually sold-out.
